when did you/do you plan to start buying baby stuff?

I have my 12 week scan on thurs and was wondering if it was too early to start buying a few things afterwards as me and DP have booked the day off.
I dont mean cots or big things but maybe a few clothes ?

We have kinda started (20wks). Got pushchair (spotted a bargain) and some baby grows and stuff. And ive signed up for a million baby clubs (asda is good).

But in general I'm feeling baffled by it all. No idea what I really need, feel like I need a pro to take me shopping

1st time probably started at about 28 weeks. Finished the day I went into hospital. This time not done anything at 21 weeks and probably won't start until about 30 weeks. lazy cow

Nappies-wise I got Huggies newborn because:

a) They do from 7-13lb, whereas Pampers stopped at about 9lbs - wasn't sure in case we'd have a bruiser :o
b) They were on offer in Asda. Still frikkin' expensive but hey ho.

We, and by 'we', I mean DH, started straight after 12 week scan, DH was very excited and DD had a fully equipped nursery by the 20 week scan. I am not suggested you should do this, it made me feel a bit anxious and weird. Although it was a blimmin good job he did as DD arrived at 26 + 5 Grin
