I am forty plus three. Have had a sweep and have induction date sat week if nothing happens. I am far far less organized this time as have ds1 who is three. I realised today I want a Tens machine as it helped a lot but when I went to boots and lloyds you now have to order them And by the time it's delivered I might have! Have also tried mother care. Does anyone have any ideas where oh where I might get one asap. I live in Birmingham. Thanku

You might need to buy one on Amazon! There will be some with options for next day delivery.

Our tesco hires them, but don't know if you need to order. Also try putting a message out on a local for sale group on Facebook, someone may have one they want to get rid off! Good luck!!!

Does the Women's Hospital rent them out (assuming you'll be going there rather than City)? Otherwise I am not sure if the machines you can get at Lloyds - for back pain rather than labour - would be better than nowt? Harborne High St branch has them - but I am not qualified to say if they are appropriate or not so perhaps google?

All the best for your labour/delivery - you may find you have a shorter labour this time anyhow, try getting in the bath!

We bought one.when I was in labour last time. They are not massively pricey. Got it in lloyds pharmacy. Would have rented if we had given it much thought though!
