Hi,

29 weeks tomorrow. Had anti d injection yesterday. Today I am totally exhausted, really groggy, nauseous etc, feel awful basically (like I'm back in the throes of the first trimester), just wondered if this could be a reaction to anti d?

Oh god I hope not, I have to have it in a few weeks :(

Do hope you feel better soon, did they mention any possible side effects? Look after yourself and hope someone more knowledgeable comes along soon

I had this and also localised swelling. I now take piriton half an hour before the jab but still feel awful afterwards. It took a couple of days to get better. The double dose I had after DD's birth was the worst. Sorry.

I had my Anti-D injection yesterday too Smile 29 weeks on Tuesday.

I have felt tired today but I think that is a combination of the start of the third trimester and running around after my 2 year old. Feeling tired isn't unusual for me at the moment!

The administering midwife told me to look out for symptoms of allergic reaction and to call 999 if that happened but didn't mention anything about other possible side effects. I seem to remember being given a leaflet after the jabs I had with my DS (it was 2 then) but didn't get one this time.

There is a good link here. I would contact your MW or GP if you are worried though.
