Hi all

Am 23 weeks and over the last few days have been feeling much more immobile and struggling with stuff like easily getting up, walking quickly, having a good sense of balance. Plus my stomach feels stretched tight as a balloon (not helped by IBS) so I'm generally walking about and moving as slowly as an OAP - have also started moaning like one!

Is this the start of feeling constantly unconfortable? Am now seriously regretting not keeping up a fitness regime, I walk to and from work and that's already more difficult, this is hard work! Poor DH must be getting fed up of my gripes and constant whinging :(

Ah you're not alone, I'm feeling the same lovey. I'm 21 weeks now and couldn't even roll out of bed this morning! At least we're past the halfway point xx

Thansk Sammy, good to know others feel my pain :)

Ribs feel like they're being pushed out too, horrible!

Hi Spice, I'm 23 weeks too and feel exactly the same! Really tight across my stomach and constricted around my chest (just got back from cinema where I removed my bra mid movie)...

Just read our babies will double in size over the next month - eek!

Oh my goodness I could have written this myself! 24 weeks and really feeling it now, my stomach feels really tight and bloated and having avoided much sickness so far, I'm suddenly getting horrendous acid reflux and throwing up a few times a day. I have grown a lot in the last week or so though so I guess it's to be expected. As Naisy said, the baby doubles in size between weeks 20 and 24, so maybe this is temporary?

If it makes you feel any better, I've been exercising throughout (just two to three dance classes a week and sometimes a bit of swimming) and still feel like this, I don't think it can be avoided!

I am 23 weeks too and getting back / hip twinges in the morning and occasional agonising stretchy pains when I walk too far (and 'too far' can mean anything from a mile to 50 yards, depending on the day Confused ). Also some heartburn. I feel your pain! :)

Horrace you are giving me hope as I admitted to DH I was dreading being 10 weeks further along and a thousand times more uncomfortable! :)

Sorry ladies but I am 36 weeks and it gets tougher! I have to roll out of bed, wobble everywhere, need a hoist to get off the couch and dont start me on putting knickers or socks on......................its almost impossible! This is my second pregnancy thou and every ache and gripe is so worth it xxx
Good luck ladies x

Ahh I have just reached 36 weeks and the horrid rib pain has eased off as baby has dropped..... Right into the space where my bladder used to be and now I have to pee constantly and god help me if I sneeze or pass wind Blush

Angelico · 10/06/2012 16:26

Clandy / Weeze :o Don't worry, you'll be having the last laugh in 12 weeks time when I'm at your stage...!

Heartburn last night and more back twinges this morning, plus pressure from baby dancing around on my bladder and fanjo. Feeling grouchy and embittered so going to retreat to a sunbed in the garden and put my fat feet and cankles up...! :)
