Are all sausages safe to eat during pregnancy? Would it state on the packaging if the sausage contained liver?

sausages are fine as far as i know.... never heard of them not being safe. HTH

lol, sausages are fine! Even if they did contain liver (highly unlikely) it would only be in tiny amounts.

Thanks guys! Had cravings for them during 1st 12 weeks and had them most mornings for breakfast - just wondered if they were OK.

in hindsight think there is a lot to be said for that approach pod! i drove myself into the ground worrying about anything and everything (but then I did end up developing OCD when I was PG!!).

twisty - find one reliable source of information - say a good PG book or the Food Standards Agency website, and just follow that - if you try to research anything and everything you eat you'll worry yourself into the ground. The midwives will have covered the main bases as to anything that may be any risk at all.

Thanks mummytosteven - think I had OCD before got PG, and it isn't helpine the situation at all!

Thanks martionbishop - I know I am being a bit paranoid but had some bad news a few weeks ago regarding a friend who was pregnant and seem to be worrying about everything since then - everything I do and everything I eat!
