Too early to tell?

Hi, DS is 14 months and another DC is on the cards but not just yet. We're using condoms on the rare opportunities for sex...

But I feel pregnant. Last period was two weeks ago so it should be too early but I feel sick, my boobs are sore, I'm tired and have a headache and a few days ago I had period-like pains. I've even started eating marmalade again like when I was pregnant with DS.

Since DS has been sleeping better recently there has been more sex but always protected.

Is it even possible to feel things this early?

Should have said - I took an out of date pregnancy test yesterday that was negative but it wouldn't even show yet anyway.

It certainly wouldn't be the end of the world if I was but I still break out in a cold sweat when I think of giving birth again!

You just can't be sure till you can take an accurate test.

I had loads of times I thought I just had to be pg in the year after DD was born. I think it was just my hormones and body settling back to normal though. I spent a lot on pregnancy tests in those months but all were negative. It all settled down and I didn't feel it again until DD was 18 months and I actually was pregnant this time!

Good luck, I hope you get the result you want.

Thanks! You're probably right - there's no reason for my hormones to be messing around at this stage but they do have a knack for confusing us. I was convinced every month before becoming pregnant with DS (apart from the month I was of course!) and went through quite a few tests so I'm trying not to take it too seriously.

I'll try to wait until my period is due to take another test if I still feel this way.
