Good evening,

I just took a pregnancy test earlier today. My period was due six days ago so I hoped I'd get a clear result. It was a line type test rather than a digital. I followed the instructions, but was a little clumsy and "splashed" the test window, which the instructions said not to do. Both lines came up almost immediately, probably after about 30 seconds to a minute. Am I pregnant? I'm not sure if accidentally peeing on the window invalidates the test. Hoping it is positive.

I have another test which I'll do tomorrow morning, and I'll be a bit more careful next time!

Thanks ladies. I can't be the only clumsy wee-er out there can I?

A line is a line is a line. There are rarely false positives. But it's always best to test first thing; the hormones in your urine are at a higher concentration at that time, less likely to have the uncertainty.

Happy peeing! And congratulations in advance Grin

Pee in a cup 1st that's what I always do then hold the test in the cup. I am clumsey and know I would just pee all over my hand and everywhere otherwise or drop the test in the pan! Good luck

I don't think it really matters. Certainly sounds like you are! Keep us posted... Hope it's the news you want!!!

Turns out I am! Did two more tests this morning. I understand there are groups on here for due dates, so I'm off to look for the Feb 2013 one, as I suspect that would be when I'm due!
