Everything is fine but I'm 20 weeks and I keep welling up at the smallest thing. I cried 3 times during a not particularly good film last night and today just read the word 'baby' and was off again! I never had this with DS. Does it stop?!

I had it with DD, and yes it does stop (for me it was when I stopped breastfeeding, I think). Am currently 13 weeks with DC2, and it's come back already...

LadyLillyWilliamSnowflake · 06/06/2012 15:40

I'm the same, I forgot my name on the phone at work earlier Blush and cried. I think I'll be stopping working soon Grin

Mikyahrose · 06/06/2012 15:45

I'm not the biggest cryer normally, but i think pg has deffo brought out my emotions a bit. I do find myself welling up at the silliest of things. I'm told that even once baby is born these emotions will stay - crying at films, tv programmes happy/sad stories.

DanyTargaryen · 06/06/2012 15:47

Not even 6 weeks yet and have cried at least once a day for the past week.

DanyTargaryen · 06/06/2012 15:47

When I'm sad, I cry, happy, cry, angry, wail like a 5 year old.

Bastard Hormones!

ContinentalKat · 06/06/2012 16:20

Bad news, it will get a little bit better, but never like before....

Beans1977 · 06/06/2012 17:14

Me! I am 24+6 and can't stop crying - we went to the cinema the other day and i cried all the way through Salmon FIshing in the Yemen!! We saw American Pie 4 afterwards and I cried in that as well. Then we saw a 'lost dog' poster on the way home and that set me off too - and I don't even like dogs... I have definitely lost it!

Notgrownupinmyhead · 06/06/2012 17:26

I'm crying now. I shouldn't have read the 2 first posts of 2 threads on here. I'm 26+3. I've even been crying at ambulances going past wtf is that all about?!

karinajack · 06/06/2012 17:34

LadyLillyWilliamSnowflake · 06/06/2012 18:01

I've just been stuck on the tube for an hour and a half and I cried the whole time.

So there's me, a giant whale, dh trying to get me to stop and everyone else looking at me like this Hmm and at dh like he'd just beat me Blush

Kelbells · 06/06/2012 18:27

Yes! 21w and my dog is staying with my DB for a couple of days... Crying whenever anyone mentions him because I miss the yapping little ball of fluff! .... And at adverts, cute pictures of babies and puppies, because someone's lovely to me or I think nobody cares about me GrinGrin

AKMD · 06/06/2012 21:26

:o LadyLilly

I definitely found that after DS was born I was more sensitive. I used to inwardly roll my eyes when people talked about not being ale to watch the news, but now I know what they mean! I have toughened up slightly in the intervening 2 years but now I'm worse than ever.

i was like up until about a month ago AKMD I never understood people crying at 'silly' things.

But now, i'm becoming one of them, welling up at all sorts.

I like being hard, and now i'm gonna be a big softy!

silvachick · 06/06/2012 22:15

The family sitting around me!

silvachick · 06/06/2012 22:16

Paperclips · 07/06/2012 00:01

Karinajack- Meadowhall at half term is enough to make anyone cry!

Ozziegirly · 07/06/2012 06:51

Kept welling up at the Jubilee concert, cried at the final Harry Potter film, today (what were they thinking?) in the waiting room before my scan they had loads of lovey songs on (the way you look tonight, up where we belong, on the wings of love) and I was having to think "Angry rhinos, David Cameron, plug sockets, underpants" to keep my mind non sobby.

ticklebug74 · 07/06/2012 08:40

I just want to cry all day! Can I? I have even woke up with tears in my eyes but had no idea why - WTF!
