7 weeks heavy bleeding advice

Hi wondered if anyone else having same problems?

I went to A&E with heavy bleeding @ weekend. Doc had a look but Cld'nt tell if I was having a miscarriage or not as wasn't actively bleeding.
Sent me to have a scan next day which to my amazement showed baby with heartbeat! I also have a large cyst which may or may not be causing the bleeding.
Midwife said as long as I don't bleed for more than 2 weeks & doesn't get really heavy they don't need to see me until next scan in 4wks.
Bleeding is bright red now & seems heavier to me so I'm still worried but don't want to keep calling hospital. Any ideas or info?

So sorry you are having all of this stress. I've had some bleeding myself and from reading on here plenty of people have unexplained bleeding and go on to have healthy pregnancies. I think once they've seen a heartbeat on the scan your chances of miscarriage are much reduced.

However if your bleeding has got heavier then I think you should call your GP or midwife for reassurance if nothing else.

Unfortunately my scan didn't show a heartbeat, but it may have been too early (6 weeks), so I have to go back again tomorrow to find out.

How are you today Sonar?

My scan went well today, the baby had grown and there is now a heartbeat Smile. Hope you have good news too.

With dd I bled solidly and very heavily for the first 7 weeks, then it slowed down and I stopped bleeding at about 14/15 weeks. She's had no issues and is completely fine at 20 months old.

This time I'm 14+3 and have had bleeding, although not as heavy as last time, and all seems fine so far.

With this pg i only took a test because i'd been bleeding for 2 weeks and thought it might mean i was pg. the doctor thought i was mad but i was clearly right. Some of us just have weird bodies I reckon!

Hi good to hear some positivity.
Unfortunately we lost the baby.
Went back to A&E Wed & doc pretty much confirmed.
Makes it harder after seeing a heartbeat the day before.
Going back for another scan nx wk to check on cyst & that baby has gone.
Gutted!
