Increase in Movement

I am 31weeks and 5 days into my first pregnancy.

Over last 24 hours the baby has been constantly moving. She is already got her head down and her little legs up so it can't be her turning. The movement are in the exact same places, where I expect her head/hands, bum, and feet to be.

Some time her movements are so intense that my heart rate goes up - I don't know if this is a psychological reaction or a physiological one.

I had this last pregnancy and went to get it checked out at hospital. They hooked me up to various machines and ran a trace for an hour or so to make sure all was fine. It was. But the midwife said I'd been right to come in, and that it was always worth checking out a change in movement patterns (ie either less or more movement).
