My DD is 1 and will be 18m when dc2 arrives in Dec. Any tips on nice books to chat new baby with her?

We went to the library and borrowed all the different books they had. This worked well as we could try them out and decide which we liked. Great age gap in my opinion - hard work but worth it when older!

There's one called waiting for baby (and one in the same series called my new baby) which would be perfect. It's got a few words but is mainly just pictures of different scenes for you to discuss rather than a story, so you can pitch at right level.

Think there is also a v simple spot the dog one (spot's baby sister?) which is probably about right too

DS is 19mths and DS2 due in 3wks... We got a nice book called 'There's a house inside my mummy' which DS seems to enjoy and the last page has mummy, daddy, little boy and baby which he now points to and names everyone then says hurrah! Hope it continues!
