Awful bloating!

I am 7+4 and suffering from the most awful bloating! Every morning my normal clothes fit fine but by the end of the day I look like I have a balloon shoved down my shirt and my jeans are more than slightly uncomfortable.

Does anyone have any anti-wind remedies?

No remedies but will watch with interest as I have the same thing! 5+2 and look about 5 months. Not good. It's not fat it's just 'round'!

peppermint tea, hot water with a slice of lemon and if you have trapped wind get on all fours (elbows and knees) with your backside in the air Grin

I've heard windeez, deflatine etc. are good and safe in pregnancy but never tried as the 3 above tend to work so well.

I had that when I was 6 + it does go off , well mine did after 12 + weeks. I found eating little and often helps but not always easy when you work full time. My clothes would be maxed out my the end of the day so I know how you feel. As for the wind its all going to continue. Partner often asks if I have farted Yes all the bloody time. I am 23 weeks now still farting but not bloated just get a very firm bump by the end of the day.
Oh decaf green tea seemed to help, I did ask my midwife and she said you process everything slower so eating little and often helps.

Oh well, peppermint tea and continue farting then....sigh, it's all very glamorous.

I had massive bloat...which never left, and eventually turned into a bump. I was struggling to do up my trousers at 6 weeks, and it was a very pronounced - very in the middle of my belly, and swelled upwards from the top of my groin to my belly button. I now have a very pronounced bump at 21 weeks!

I got a bit freaked out by someone on a thread talking about their bump at 5 weeks, and I was very confused...until they explained they meant their "baby bloat".

I have the most horrific bloating : ( used to suffer even before pregnancy and now with an added baby often gets to the point where I have difficulty breathing. Need to get some comfy work trousers soon!

I second hot water and lemon, though! My mum suggested it to me and it really helps. Also moving lots, if you can bear to. A walk often helps get any trapped wind out.

How are our delightful bloated tummies today?! Mine seems to have deflated a bit. Terrible wind last night though. Damn pregnancy is sexy!

I'm 5 weeks and can't do my trousers up by mid afternoon :(

I can't remember feeling like this with DD.

I am just a big ball of wind this evening, feeling pretty hellish really. Not being helped that 'd'h is watching pirates of the caribbean and the man with the gibblety bits is making my nausea worse :(
