Can anyone tell me if this is normal or if I should call mat unit? Am having the baby by section in a couple of days. The pains are ridiculously sore, since 2am, hurts like hell to walk when it starts, literally have to hold myself. Impossible to be comfy. Slight cramps but nothing major. Anyone, please?

No not contractions, just these awful pains down below -- horrible can't do anything.

I get sharp shooting pains down there and have been told it's the babies head nestling into your pelvis. If it's the same thing, it really takes your breath away and then it's gone as soon as it's arrived? I have had it for a few weeks now and I'm 40 + 4 . Think it's normal though

Thanks Lucietea, appreciate the reply -- that's what it must be, it just isn't going, very much on and off...
Good luck to u, won't say hopefully not long -- I promise Grin
