I'm 5 wks pg just after 2 mc. I already have DS (2.10). Anyway I have no pg symtons at all except going to the loo more often than usual but I have this terrible backache just below my shoulder blades. Has anyone else had this? Am I just getting old and rickety? Or is it the start of another mc? Any ideas gratefully received.

Hiya hun,
No experience of backache this high up I'm afraid, always have mine lower down. Hopefully someone will give you some advice or experiences of this. Maybe you've strained something?
I do know that one sided shoulder pain can indicate ectopic pg so maybe you should give you mw a call or gp? I'm sure it's nothing to worry about though as you've got it in the middle.

I was going to try and not think about every little twinge this time. But this is quite notcieable. I did talk to my GP about this morning at the same time as trying to confirm my pg. One of his test didn't work and he didn't seem too sure about the other. He said to test again at the end of the week. So now I've got it into my head that this pg isn't going very far. Sorry to bee so moody!!

dont appologise missmi....its totally understandable that your feeling like that. i have read on one of the other threads that the docs tests arent quite as good as shop bought ones, so i expect and hope that it is the docs crappy tests. put your feet up, take it easy and test in another week. (((hugs))) hope that you feel better soon xoxox

It's understandable. We've all been there. I'm 10+4 and still panic (especially as this pg has been filled with bleeding and pain so far). Once you had mc's that's it. you worry for life. I won't fully relax until this little one's safely in my arms.
Wishing you love & luck xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
