Where has my cervix gone? It was there this morning!

I'm 39 weeks pg and not been able to reach it for many many weeks.

Then, all of a sudden, this morning, there it was. Far far back but with a closed but definite opening!

Then this evening...... Disappeared completely.

Can it move around in such short spaces of time?

Leave the cervix alone! How on earth are you managing to check with a giant bump?!

Ah, my bump isn't so big really!

Just an information junkie and think I should know my own body!

But very confused.

If you bear down it pops down.

I seem to remember from ttc that it shifts around during the day, I use to check it at the same time each day.

Then again, I might have made that up.

I don't think I've ever gone looking for my cervix ever!! Certainly won't be ATM with a big old bump in the way....

at this stage in PG - can't you feel the head rub against it too?

not my fave feeling. also, with hand-against head baby no 3, i could feel her fingers wiggle against it for the last week.

i never felt the need to have a fish about though!

No. No head rubbing. Not anywhere ear engaged, nor do I expect it to be. Have never in 3 pg ever had fully engaged written in my notes, even in labour .

I have no idea why but assume it's coz I ave a wide shallo pelvis so they can always feel pretty much the whole head whilst I am still willing to let them have a go.

Anyway, baby still corkscrewing! Was back to back an hour ago, now right way-ish! I got a bucket ute!
