Hi I'm new to this but wanted to share my storey....
Last year in march I had a miscarriage at 4 weeks, then in August I was then rushed into hospital with an ectopic pregnancy, I didn't rupture but I had my right tube removed.
I found out 3 weeks ago that I was pregnant again so am now 7 weeks pregnant, but went to hospital 2 weeks ago with pains again, they run a series of blood tests and found the hormone wasn't developing as it should have, so last Friday they done an ultrasound and said I had another ectopic pregnancy in my left tube, I was then offered a choice of surgery or methotrexate I opted for methotrexate, I have since had a number of blood tests and the hormone had increased as expected but has now stabilised.
I returned to the hospital this morning expecting another shot of methotrexate or surgery, only to find out I'm carrying twins one in the tube and one in the uterus! As you can imagine I was very shocked, they said I had ovulated on both sides and and my remaining left tube collected both eggs. They have now left it to see how I get on as don't want to operate or give another shot in case the pregnancy in the uterus is viable, so now it's a waiting game.....
Anybody out the with similar experiences....

MY goodness! what a year you've had. I've not had a similar experience I'm afraid, I'm 20 weeks gone with my first pregnancy and very emotionally charged, so I just want to wish you all the luck in the world and hope everything goes well for you xxx

Oh my gosh, so what happens re the embryo in the tube?! I have no idea about these things?

EmmaStyl · 01/06/2012 17:35

They said they can see a lot of blood in the tube and the embryo has detached itself so should desolve, and the reason the hormone isn't dropping with it is because of the other pregnancy in the uterus.. X
