Hello - can anyone help with reccomendations on hospitals in Hampton Hill / Teddington - post code TW12. I am having twins and moving from north London to this area at around 20 weeks and don't know where to start looking - any thoughts / feedback would be amazing - thanks!

Hi,

Kingston Hospital is probably your closest maternity unit - no more than a 10/15 minute drive, traffic permitting. I am due to have my first there in Sept and so far, so good. There was a thread on Kingston recently in the childbirth section, maybe take a look at it.

Good luck with the move.

Hello! I had my first DS at Kingston Hospital in Dec 2010 and they were great there, very friendly midwives, great care after emergency c-section. DD is on her way, due in Sept 2012 and very happy to go back to Kingston Hospital. Good Luck!

Kingston here for me too (live in Hampton Hill) and due to give birth to DC3 in October. They are extremely busy so may be worth getting in touch now.

My choices when I told the Dr I was pregnant first time were:-

Kingston
West Middlesex
Queen Charlotte

I have had no problems with Kingston (apart from the some LONG waiting times for antenatal appointments!!!!).

Good luck.

I live in Teddington & have had both of mine at West Mid & due to have 3rd in Aug
I can't praise them highly enough especially as I had my 1st at 28 weeks due to severe PE and he was very small & poorly when born - the special care team kept him alive for the 1st 24 hours before he could be transferred to a grade 3 NICU
They monitored me extremely well with my 2nd & so far with my 3rd..
