Random warm feeling in one foot??

I am 33+3. The last 2 days I have had a strange sensation. In my left foot, i will randomly feel the middle toes and area above and below them get very warm, like I've stepped in a warm puddle or propped my foot in front of a fire. It only lasts 2-3 seconds. Any ideas??

If relevant, I've also felt very lethargic for the past 3 days, and tonight have gotten a headache and fingers slightly shaking. I have gone to hospital twice for possible PE monitoring due to severe foot swelling and pitting edema but each time my blood pressures stabilize / go down and no protein and blood tests are fine so all been ok so far.

That's weird! I've never had that whilst pregnant, but years ago I had a tiny scratch on my ankle that got infected. The area got red and swollen and would often feel hot. Might be worth checking you've got no scratches in the area and no redness or non-pregnancy related swelling?

I had a hot spot on the instep of my right foot which came and went from 10ish to 20ish weeks. No idea what it was, but v bizarre. Now both feet constantly hot! (Am 34 weeks).

I had a really warm spot on my thigh the other day, I was in the middle of town - I thought my waters had gone or something at first, it even felt like it spread, havn't had it since though. Have you got a 34 week midwife appt soon?

I'm seeing doc next Wednesday when I'll be 34+2 so will ask about it then. Thanks for reassuring me it's not some life or death symptom that's gone undetected til now Grin

I got random hot and cold sensations with my last pregancy, really freaked me out. They went on until I finished breastfeeding. I think it must be hormonal, but I am such a worrier, thought I had MS or something!! Just went away, though.

I've also had the random warm foot thing, but then I also have a slipped disc & get weird sensations in my feet due to that sometimes. It could be baby lying against a nerve. Also, you will get warmer than normal hands & feet during pregnancy due to the increased blood flow.
