Is there any point seeing a doctor?

I've had a cold and possibly a throat infection for the past week. I'm sick of feeling ill!

If I see the doctor can they prescribe me anything? I reckon my throat is infected/tonsillitis or something like that.

I'm 28 weeks.

And a wimp!

Yes Do go and see them. I had a terrible cough at 32 weeks, my friend said not to bother because they won't give you anything. Turned out I had a chest infection which wasn't really that bad but I got anti-biotics straight away.

Hey crochet! I'm 27 weeks and had a stinking cold/throat/chesty cough thing and I thought I'd leave it for a week then see dr. As it was it cleared up, but if you are still poorly I'd go. It's hard enough being pregnant, let alone dealing with that on top!! Smile

Turns out it dr thinks it is a chest infection and have got antibiotics. Hope it clears up quickly now, and thanks for prompting the visit.
