In order of favourites here:

Harry - but getting more and more popular; I still like it
Alfie - but would worry a bit about Eastenders link
Tom - I prefer Thomas, and then shotened to Tom
Toby - not 100% sure on this one

Tom (but prefer thomas)
Harry
Alfie

CaptainCavemansMummy · 20/02/2006 20:38

Tom definately, but then I have a Tom so am biased!

Mandymoo · 20/02/2006 20:40

It would be Thomas shortened to Tom - dh loves Alfie but i'm not so sure.......

I love Toby. You could even use Tobias which is very unusual and distinguished, and then shorten it for everyday. Tom would be my second choice, a lovely classic name.

nutcracker · 20/02/2006 20:58

Harry is fab, I have one.

Also love Thomas/Tom as Thomas is Harry's middle name

Rhubarb · 20/02/2006 21:00

I liked Alfie but is now incredibly popular. Harry reminds me of the smug prince. Tom ok, but lots of Thomas' around too. So Toby would be my choice, not too many of them and very cute for a little boy!

My first choice was Bailey - but dh hated it!

lunavix · 20/02/2006 21:06

Harry

Don't like the others, Tom is urgh and Toby is strange

Alfie comes from Alfred
Tom comes from Thomas
Toby comes from Tobias
Harry comes from Harold

All real names.

Mandymoo · 20/02/2006 21:25

Sorry, was replying to cod!

Go for Toby!

MrsSpoon · 20/02/2006 21:28

I like Harry best out of your list then Thomas (not keen on Tom), don't really like Alfie or Toby.

I like Tom, I know someone who has spelt it THOM which is slightly different but probably very confusing

Fimbo · 21/02/2006 14:37

Where I am from in Scotland, Toby was a joke name for a willy.

Aero · 21/02/2006 14:38

Toby - nice name, not over used
Tom - over used, but still nice
Harry - over used but classic
Alfie - just not keen on this one, but each to their own.
