Big maternity knickers to wear under a fitted bridesmaid dress???

I am going to be bridesmaid for my best friend in two weeks time, at which point I'll be 23 weeks pregnant and I already have a large-ish bump. The dress I'm wearing is best described as knee length, fuchsia pink, satiny, stretchy material (it honestly looks better than it sounds!!) and is not a maternity dress, but with some alterations the bride's lovely mother has changed a size 14 dress into one that fits a pre-pregnancy size 10 person.

Anyway, it is a little bit clingy and I'm struggling to find underwear that doesn't show or give me unsightly bulges! Does anyone know of any maternity knickers that are somewhat like the control knickers that come up really high over the waist and go down onto the thigh so as not to give any lines? Such things may not exist, but if you know of anything please let me know!

I'm currently looking at extra large granny pants in M&S as an option Confused

I've just bought some maternity Spanx to wear under clingy maxi dresses. Actually reasonably comfortable! Might be worth a try?

I just bought some of these and I think they would do the job well! If you search you can find a discount code either from mm partner or another

HTH!

Perhaps a bump band + pants combo? Or Spanx do a maternity range - particularly attractive they are too...! Hmm

Wow! Spanx maternity look like exactly the things I'm looking for if I ignore the price tag for a pair of knickers and think of how I'll look forever in the photographs

The others from Jojomamanbebe could be a goer too!

I knew mumsnet would be able to help! Thanks.
