Is this just Braxton Hicks??

I am nearly 33 weeks and just about every time I change position (sitting to walking or whatever) my bump gets really hard and tight, and sometimes painful. Is that typically Braxton Hicks?? I have been having this for a good few weeks now but it feels stronger. My last scan (Thurdsay gone, I have another one in 2 weeks to check level) showed I have some polyhydramnios, could it be a fluid shift? I didn't think I was that much over normal amount, but my belly gets so hard sometimes. This is DC2 but I had DD very prematurely and don't remember any BH's at all.
Any ideas wise mners?

I have no answer to this question but would be interested in an answer.

I am 30+2 weeks today and I have had the same problem for last couple of weeks. My uterus gets really really hard and uncomfortable. I try and relax my muscles and take deep breaths and usually it all goes away in around half a minutes. However, yesterday I had way too many of these and it came with pain in what I think are my kidneys and also breathlessness (which makes taking deep breaths hard).

I have a very slight decrease in the amniotic fluids. I also feel like a swishhhhh feeling when I turn around when lying down which seems to trigger the hardness of the uterus.

Hi missing,

I'm getting lots of what I think are painful braxtons too. I have no idea whether this is normal but am definitely feeling the same as you when I go from sitting to standing. I have a sacn on Thursday so will see what that shows.
