On average how much weight does a baby gain in the last 4 weeks of pregnancy?

I had a growth scan today as I have been measuring big all the way through. I am 36w+1 today.

They have said that baby is 7lb 3oz today. Which is bigger than DS1 was at 40w+2!

I was just wondering what is roughly the average weight gain until they are born?

I was told about half a pound a week :) x

I was told a pound a week. But at 34 weeks my growth scan said ds weighed 5.5pound, he was born after due date weighing just under 7.
