very excited as my new pushchair is being delivered today, im currently 30 weeks with id twins so they will be here within 7 weeks max,i know it is supposed to be bad luck to keep your pushchair at home, so im just wondering should i find somewhere else to keep them or am i just being silly :)

the pushchair is in 3 big boxes so it would be difficult to find somewhere else to keep them

wwyd??? Tia Grin

Eeeek how exciting!

I would keep it at home, I had DD's pushchair at home for months, I got over excited and bought early!

I will be having ds's pushchair delivered at 37 weeks so will be keeping it at home.

JarethTheGoblinKing · 25/05/2012 16:42

It's fine to keep it at home. I'd put it together now and make sure it's in working order now tbh

GobblersKnob · 25/05/2012 16:43

It is so not bad luck to keep your pushchair at home.

(In the nicest possible way, am aware you are pg and hormonal) Don't be such a twat Grin

Get it all out and play with it, you know you want to.

We got everything early. And were very glad cos DS arrived early!

We put our pushchair in the cellar (we have a tiny flat) but as I knew I'd be in hospital for 4-5 days, DH had time to faff about put it up.

'twas funny - I'd warned him to not start it 5 minutes before he left to pick me up at the hospital (we walked home) as it would be complicated. He scoffed. Then turned up very red-faced as it had taken over 20minutes to assemble!

I'll let you in on a secret - our neighbours had the same pushchair (they recommended it) and when I was pregnant and no one was around, I'd push theirs around the hallway to try it out Blush

Sorry but i didnt have mine in the house till baby arrived! I left it at my sisters assembled and went every now and again to have a little try out Smile

cheekycurls · 25/05/2012 17:42

ooooh what did u get?!

3 big boxes will take up soooo much room so best to get it all out, put it together and have a good play! Grin

Notmyselfatall · 25/05/2012 18:14

I'd have mine at home, just coming up to 19 weeks with dc3 and the moses basket was delivered yesterday, set up in ds's room Grin couldn't help myself lol. Ordering my pram soon, finding out what I'm having on Sunday then will be ordering the pram! Wooo hooo!! Grin

We have had ours for ages as had it imported from the uk. Since I was about 20 weeks I think! Nowhere else to keep it but in the house!

silverangel · 26/05/2012 08:34

I wouldn't have mine anywhere near the house - went to MILs put it up and collected when DTs got out of SCBU. I was completley neurotic - had nothing in the house at all! In hindsight it was a good job they were in SCBU - gave us a chance to get everything sorted!
