Do you wash olives before you eat them? Even when they're pitted, stuffed with something and they're all greasy with olive oil?

I have been known to rinse them
If they're too salty. But it really isn't necessary

Why on earth would anyone wash an olive?!

If they come out of a jar, they have already been washed.
