Hi ladies.
I am currently 8 weeks pregnant. At 6 wks i began bleeding. Went into hospital and they said I had a bleed in my uterus. I continued bleeding heavily so had a second scan and again it was confirmed that I have a large bleed (Haematoma) in my uterus just under where my baby is. I am still bleeding quite a bit, but no cramps at all. I was just wondering if anyone else had been through this and how long it took for the bleeding to stop? Its my 1st pregnancy and it took us 3 years to conceive so I am a little stressed about it all! any advice would be welcome.

I am going through the same thing bled at 6 weeks had a scan at 8 weeks they said it was a hemorrhage and that it was so large it could push baby out and cause me to miscarry went for another scan yesterday at 10 weeks and baby is doing totally fine and clot us gettin smaller so they said I don't need to go back again cuz clot is not effecting baby and that it would bleed out or resolve. I have been spotting since my first bleed mainly brown though with a couple tiny spots of red. As long as your not having really bad cramps or clots you should be fine. The bleeding is normal with a clot and should mean its gettin smaller fingers crossed all turns out ok!! Its a horrible thing to go through xxxx

Nelly
I'm a week behind you and started spotting brown blood at 5 weeks for 5 days, then red blood fairly heavy for half a day. I went to the doc and he didn't seem overly concerned and did another test a few days later which was positive. It went back to spotting again and then at 6+6 I had another bleed. Since then I've been spotting but it's always pink blood now not brown. Still having pg symptoms just just hoping that's a good sign. I see the MW on Thursday so keeping fingers crossed. I'll ask then for an early scan.
From what I can tell, everyone differs and you may have blood and cramps and not MC but have no blood and still MC. I was freaking out at the first sign of any blood - who knew you bled during pregnancy?!?! Now, I'm trying to take each day as it comes. There are so many things it may or may not be so I'm just trying to stay relaxed and find out as and when things happen.
I'll be devastated if it's bad news as I honestly was believing it would never happen for us. On the upside, if it is bad news, at least I know that it can happen.
Fingers crossed your bleed stops and all progresses normally - it's such a roller coaster ride isn't it? I'm scared to go to the toilet these days but keep having to go !
