How long after AF due for BFP??

So it's been 6 days since AF due and no BFP!

Just wondered how long other people experienced between AF being due and BFP? For those with a moderate to hefty wait, how often did you test?

I got a BFP before AF due by a couple of days but I know it took my friend about a week after to get hers. I think it must depend on how soon after conception implantation must take place.
