5 weeks and starting to show! Twins?!

So I'm 5-6 weeks pregnant, with my first you couldnt really tell I was pregnant until about 17weeks!

However with this one, I'm 5-6 weeks and already feel like I'm starting to get a belly on me!
I just wanted to know if with your second is it normall to show earlier, or could it be twins, as it runs in my family a long time ago!
Bit worried about twins as my first is only a year .

Even if it was twins, they would still be such tiny little blobs at 5/6 weeks there is no way they would make your belly any bigger than a single one. But most people show much earlier in the second pregnancy - weaker stomach muscles etc - and it may just be hormonal bloating, or indeed your imagination, just because you know you are pregnant.

I've heard the only possible early sign of it being twins is feeling a lot sicker than in previous pregnancies (twice the hormones) but that can be other things too.

I felt like this when I was 5 weeks, was sent for a scan at 6 weeks (long story as to why, not relevant) and found out I was about 22 weeks!!

bloating my dear! bloating and the most horrific gas!! the pg hormones make everything slow down and back up, especially in first trimester. i was in mat jeans at 8 weeks for the same reason. it settled down at 12 weeks, and i started showing properly around 20 weeks.

I didn't have bloating with my DD but this time, I'm huge. Not sure why its different, but that's pregnancy I guess!!! I'd dig out my maternity wear sooner rather than later if I were you...

You should have probably skipped the second portion of takeout last night...
