I have literally just got a BFP and am over the moon. I am 4 weeks 6 days pregnant by my calculations and this will be my DC2. My worry is a had LOT to drink on Saturday night (not like me) which would have been exactly 3 weeks after conception. I had taken a pregnancy test that morning and it was negative so thought I would be ok to drink but today when my period didnt arrive I took another test and it was positive. I am really worried after looking on the net about possibly having harmed my baby by drinking - any reassurance out there? Thanks

I didn't find out I was pregnant until I got back from my honeymoon. Working the dates back, it was a wedding night baby. The honeymoon was a 3 week monster piss up. I'm full term now, haven't had any problems so far. Congratulations on your pregnancy.

Congratulations! Yup our 1st DD was a wedding night baby too and I definitely didn't hold back on the drinking until i discovered i was pg at about 7 weeks! She's now a bubbly 7 year old!

I don't think you share the same blood etc until a wee bit further on. In the nicest possible way - stop worrying and enjoy your pg! X

I am sure you will be fine. I drank too much one night before I knew I was pregnant and DS turned out fine!

Hello, I too have discovered that I'm pregnant today. I only married a month ago! This weekend my husband and I went to Ypres to do a sponsored walk. I walked 74kms, ate rare steak, drank red wine and took nurofen to cope with sore feet. When this morning's test result was positive I went straight to my GP who reassured me and told me not to worry.
