hello went to gp this morning as feeling abit fluey and headachey and just want to check all was ok.
gp said there was a small amount of protein in my urine. bp and temperature was fine. Dr seemed quite happy and said i probably had something viral???
are you meant to have a small amount of protein?will it go away?im confused. 33weeks on wed x

Hi Looby, I also went to the GP a few weeks ago (similar symptoms to you) where they found a small amount of protein. Apparently nothing to worry about, go home, relax, drink plenty of water etc.
However, I had this with my first pregnancy as well so had a feeling it would develop into a water infection, so left it a couple of weeks and went back. GP tested my urine again and it had progressed to increased protein and white cells, I had a 5 day course of anti biotics and seem to be okay now.
Perhaps go back if nothing improves in a week and demand to be checked again?
