Pregnancy symptoms but don't think I could be pregnant. Hysterical pregnancy?

Have name changed.

Over the past week or so I have been feeling sick. It comes and goes but sometimes stops me in my tracks and I have to breathe deeply to avoid vomiting. It feels just like the sickness I had with my 2 previous pregnancies. I also have itchy nipples (sorry tmi) which was one of the first symptoms I had with my last pregnancy and some breast tenderness.

I am only on cycle day 24 (cycles usually around 35 days) but took a test this morning that was negative.

I don't think it's possible that I'm pregnant. Dh has been ill and we have only had sex twice this month, once on about day 6 (unprotected but literally the day I stopped bleeding) and once about a week later on about day 13 (withdrawal).

I have 2 dcs already and most of the time feel like my family is complete. My dc2 is 19 months and I have only had 2 periods since he was born due to breast feeding. First was 33 days and second 38 days. My cycles have always been on the long side (around 35 days) so I always assume it is safe close to when my period ends and this hasn't been a problem before.

I think maybe I'm imagining the symptoms because it would be too early to have nausea from a pregnancy wouldn't it? I seem to remember that I didn't start to feel sick until week 6 or so the last 2 times.

I think I am suddenly panicking and thinking what an idiot I am for relying on the fact that my cycles are long. I am wondering if anyone has experience of feeling very like they did in a previous pregnancy only for it to turn out to be nothing?

You totally could be pregnant. Some men get some seepage before they ejaculate. Sperm can hang around for up to 5 days, and with irregular cycles you just don't know when you ovulated. Test again in a week. I had nausea on day 23.
