Hi everyone,

This is my first ever post. For the past few days I have (well I thought I had) pregancy symptoms. Ive had sore nipples, feel nauseous, headaches and since friday I have had lower back aches and since yesterday stomach cramps. The stomach cramps and backache have carried on today. On 7th May I noticed a very light bleeding which is very unusual for me. The light bleeding was over in 3/4 days but the light bleeding wasn't constant. It would start in the morning and stop a couple of hours later. I was due my period on 10th May. The month before I had a normal period. We are not using any contraception because we are trying for a baby. I took clear blue digital pregnancy test and it was negative. Im confused I really think I am pregnant. Does anyone know what I should do next? In your experience are home pregnancy tests accurate?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yes they are usually accurate, however I had a negative test a few days after I was due when I was actually pregnant.

A few weeks later I tested again and it was strong positive.

Suggest leaving it a week then testing again.

I know it's hard, but when you're pregnant you have to do lots of waiting (for scans for example) so you may as well get used to it ;)

When i got my neg test my GP gave me the advice to relax, carry on as if you're not pregnant etc which is what I did. Good advice! Unfortunately this involved a v boozy wedding and Easter weekend Blush
