So I'm on my first clomid cycle and according to monitor ov'd on cd16.
I just remembered I took ibuprofen for a headache on cd15! Apparently it can interfere with ov and implantation, so am now stressing about that as well as everything else
I'm hoping lots of you will come on and tell me they took a couple of ibuprofen and still got pg that month, don't have much hope for this month now :(

Hi Maghribia. I've no experience of Clomid but wouldn't think that just a couple of ibuprofen would muck things up too much. You're right that NSAIDs can interfere with ovulation and implantation but I think you'd have had to be on them for ages, taking them regularly, for it to have a real effect. (I was on diclofenac for a slipped disc a year ago - taking 3 hefty ones per day and not getting pregnant - within a month or two of having stopped them, I was up the duff.) So a one-off dose is probably fine.

Try not to stress - that doesn't help ovulation either! And maybe get in some paracetamol for future aches and pains?

Good luck!

Hi, I'm not on clomid but took ibuprofen for what I now think were implantation pains a couple of weeks ago, and I just found out I am pregnant.

good luck!

Just what I wanted to hear, thank you so much!
(I think I have implantation cramps as well fwiw, but don't want to jinx things by admitting it in RL!)

Ahh! fingers crossed for you!

I have done everything 'wrong' before I knew I was pregnant - soft cheese, wine, ibuprofen, and digging cat shit out of the garden. I just figure if this one sticks, then it'll be a strong one!
