When does an itchy bump become more than just an itchy bump?

My bump has been itching for about a week now. It calms down a bit when I put cream on it but not for too long. I had remembered something about having an itchy bump being bad so I've had a google.

It seems that if it's cholestasis then I would be itching elsewhere too. But I'm not.

So is this just my skin stretching for the last few weeks or could it be something to worry about?

I have a MW appt on Thursday when I'll be 36 weeks.

Tbh, it sounds like stretching to me. Maybe you're about to get stretch marks if you don't already have them. I thought it was if your hands and feet start itching that you should worry.

I already have loads of stretch marks from the other pregnancies.

I had loads of itching on my bump and never got any stretch marks, but I was told it was just my skin stretching and only to worry if I got it on my hands and feet.

Is your bump bigger this time round?

If you're really worried about it maybe call the hospital or your mw?

Yeah it is. When I had a look on google it said that itchy feet and hands was only one of the symptoms. Might dig out my pregnancy book and see what it says.

I'm sure it's probably stretching. Thanks
