Headache and exhausted at 38 weeks

I woke up this morning feeling so tired (even more than normal!), I also have a bad headache behind my eyes and feel a little nauseous. I haven't managed to get out of bed yet today but have made sure to keep hydrated, plenty of water. Also blood pressure has remained low throughout pregnancy so don't think it could be preeclampsia. Anyone else felt similar?

You need to get your bp checked now. Call your midwife. My bp was 90/60 all through my pregnancy but when I was admitted with similar symptoms to you it was 240/140. Don't ignore your symptoms.

I second that.
Call your midwife straight away!

I suffered from severe headaches/ migraines three weeks before my first baby arrived. I vomitted and generally felt crap. It will prob be fine, but I contacted the mw, as its really important to rule out Pre-eclampsia.
And just to check do you have swollen ankles/ hands or anything.
Anyway, just make sure you ring mw, then rest and eat and drink plenty.

Swollen ankles isn't always present as a symptom of pre eclampsia.

Thanks all. I called the midwife and was told to rest and if it gets worse to call my gp.

I think you need your bp checked as soon as possible

Had a long sleep. The headache seems to have cleared. Will keep an eye on it though. Thanks all
