I am 18weeks and starting to feel baby moving, eek!

Getting ahead of myself but just wondering when DH will be able to feel this too?

TIA

Exciting isn't it! My DH felt something at 21 weeks, but only an exceptionally big 'kick', and because I put his hand in the right place on my stomach. Looking forward to it becoming really obvious!

My DH felt baby once at about 18 weeks but baby was going mental (after I wolfed a whole bag of tangfastics!) I'm 21 weeks now and I can feel some kicks from the outside but as soon has hubby puts hand on my belly little pickle stops moving :)

My hubby could feel it straight away - I'm 18 weeks too, and suddenly started feeling massive kicks one night when I laid down in bed. I dug my fingers in and felt it kick my fingers so grabbed DH's hand and dug his fingers in and he felt it too! Have become totally slightly obsessed with trying to feel it ever since! My baby goes crazy on the tube, after a curry and when I bend forwards.
A friend of mine said her Mum's friend is a midwife and used to dig around her belly whenever she saw her, so can't imagine it does any harm... DH disagrees and tells me off when I'm feeling for it though Blush
So exciting and weird!!!

My DH could feel at around 24 weeks I think. One night I was fast asleep and the baby was kicking lumps out of him. Think it was a nice bonding thing!

Sparklekitty, my DH's hand has the same soperific effect on our baby's movements, I'm hoping that this is an indication that he has the ability to soothe our baby with a mere touch, which should come in handy when the little one is born.

DH first felt movements around 19 weeks but it was a few weeks before baby's regular movements were usually strong enough to be felt by him.

I'm now 30 weeks, and although he can feel most movements if he happens to have his hand on bump at the time, we don't often co-ordinate things well. I'll feel the baby is particuarly active and call him over, then the little one settles down. I don't think its just there being a hand there that stops baby, because I can often sit with my hand there and feel baby for some time.

Annoying in terms of trying to get DH excited about baby (that I keep asking him to feel my unremarkable belly), but hopefully it shows some innate parenting skill at soothing baby.

Its fun how things go from 'oh, was that baby' because the movement is so faint, to feeling movement at more than one point on your belly, like baby is stretching or turning around and when movements are so strong that you see them. Enjoy Grin

I first felt movement at 18 weeks, and DH could feel her by 19 weeks.

Aw that was a lovely present for him then Oikopolis! I am feeling loads of flutters now but no proper kicks and nothing that can be felt from outside...hopefully soon!
