Hi all I have DD who's 4 then have had 2 mC in last 12 months am pg again and had a scan Monday they found bean's HB and said i was 6w 6d (v. scared as 1 mc baby died at 6w 6d) They said HB was good and baby was 9mm.

There was a small pool of blood 1cm x 1/2cm to be exact, MW said she was not that concerned especially as its tiny and is under my uterus. It will either come out or reabsorb.

No scan now till June 19th and am terrified i'm going to m/c again! Keep worrying i'm bleeding. I am v. tired have sore boobs and started being sick Tues, again Weds but wasn't yesterday and today?!?

Anyone had a similar situation or any advice

Sorry no experience or advice but didn't want you to go unanswered. Will keep my fingers crossed for you.

No experience but I wouldn't read too much into coming and going of symptoms too much, sure it's normal for symptoms to fade for a day or so every so often

I had this during this pregnancy after 2 mc's. I started spotting at about 5 weeks, had to wait for a scan till I was about 7 weeks and they saw the heartbeat and could see an area of blood in the same place as yours, I was told as it had an easy exit, it wouldn't affect the baby. I then had another bleed at 9 weeks and was re-scanned and the area had cleared up.
I am now 21 weeks and had scan yesterday. X

I bled several times during the first 12 weeks of my pregnancy (now 16 weeks). Sometimes it was quite red and heavy (running down my legs, sorry if tmi) other times it was just some dark spotting. Having been scanned 5 times (could see where bleeding had come from each time) and had many chats with midwives, I am happy it is just a result of my growing uterus busting a few membranes.

I have mc'd before also so I am aware of the terror you must be feeling, and I felt it every time I bled this time. I found that only the scan would make me feel better each time.

The nurses at the hospital told me that about 30% of successful pregnancies also suffer bleeding of some description, mostly in the first trimester.

I am sure everyone is telling you to stay positive, which is very frustrating. I found distraction from the worry worked better.

My friend had huge gush of blood twice 6 and 8 weeks I think. Her 12 weeks scan a few days ago was perfect! If you do bleed, you'll have wood idea what it is,but go and be seen at EPU ASAP for reassurance.

Thanks for all the great advice. I've had no pain for a few weeks now and no sign of bleeding so hope it's reabsorbed.

Think im going to ask epas if i can have a rescan in a couple of weeks to put my mind at rest.
