Anyone else bone crushingly achingly tired?
Am moving house on sat and what with running after toddler I am absolutely exhausted.
Even going up and down stairs is a huge effort.
Roll on baby in 5 weeks!
Just fancied a moan really - anyone else notice they are more tired second/third time round?

I'm absolutely shattered. I'm 20 weeks with my fourth and I was actually in bed by 9 last night, asleep by 9.30.

Can sometimes be due to low iron levels, have yours been checked recently?

FirstUpBestDressed · 17/05/2012 17:19

yes me.
more in the early months though.
you should be due to have your iron checked soon.maybe a good idea to take supplements meantime and focus on eating iron rich foods incase you are anaemic as well as very busy.
good luck with the move and the baby :)

I'm cream crackered constantly! I need to nap when I can. This is my 2nd and it feels more exhausting than my 1st. I'm 26 weeks- the 2nd trimester energy never came to me. My low blood pressure doesn't help.

Purplehonesty · 17/05/2012 18:03

Yeah iron levels are fine but blood pressure is low so maybe that doesn't help
I have low blood sugar anyways and having to eat constantly to stay awake!
It's awful Wink

I'm at about the same stage as you but this is my first. I'm tired BUT I think it's fair to say that running around after a toddler is always going to make a pregnancy harder. I'm still working but surviving. Wouldn't say no to a little nap in the afternoon though1

GizzyBoo · 17/05/2012 19:00

Yup.
20 weeks tomorrow with #4 (waves to *Hetty) and regularly clock watching from 7pm and trying to justify crawling into bed straight after dinner.

Needing to pee 3+ times a night isn't helping Hmm

Purplehonesty · 17/05/2012 19:10

Ah peeing in the night is horrid. I try to go if I wake up for any reason, even if I dont need to save another wake up an hour later!

yes have seemed tired through the whole of this pregnancy and am 26+2 today i really think running after a toddler does not help! I feel better on days when i go to work!

baileyslover · 17/05/2012 20:05

Snap susiegrapevine my consultant wonders why I am not giving up work sooner Smile. I am exhausted running round after DS1, only 22 weeks but as carrying triplets I shouldn't really expect anything else. Grin

Flightty · 17/05/2012 20:09

Yes yes yes and am nearly 6 weeks, I am falling asleep in the car waiting at school, in the morning after school run, in the afternoon, and by 8pm in the evening. I'm useless.

poor you and I hope you get through the last bit without too much bother xx

susiegrapevine · 17/05/2012 22:18

i know balieys i go to work for a rest! wow triplets that must be more than 3 times as tiring!!! defo stay at work as long as poss if its a sitting down kinda job.

gothinrecovery · 18/05/2012 13:36

My main symptom at the moment (I'm 6 weeks + 3) is feeling utterly knackered - not having caffeine doesn't help as I used to mainline diet coke and Starbucks but can't have it anymore as my blood pressure is a bit high. In bed by 10.30 most nights now whereas before i was usually going to bed around midnight and up at 6.30!

Still up at 6.30 as got no option due to job but am really looking forward to a lie in this weekend!

margarethamilton · 18/05/2012 13:41

29 weeks and exhausted, truly. Thought I was going to faint at work the other day! 12 hours sleep last night and currently on sofa. But have to heave myself up to clean as bloody ILs staying this weekend :(

HeyMicky · 18/05/2012 13:41

Good god, yes. 20 weeks and it's not getting any better. My tiny bladder gets me up at least twice a night.

In bed by half 9, 2 naps a day on the weekend. Also, attention span of a gnat
