Don't feel pregnant

Hi ladies
I have posted similar before but still i can't seem to stop worrying.
I'm 9+ 5 and just don't feel pregnant.
At the beginning I knew before I did the test : tired, sore sore boobs, larger boobs etc and off some foods.
But apart from some crazy bloating ( and tender boobs ( although not as sore) I don't have any symptoms. I've had no morning sickness at all and despite my mum, sister and partner saying stop worrying, that I shouldn't worry about things out of my control etc etc I can't help but worry that something's wrong and I'm not actually pregnant anymore. I've got 3 more weeks to wait until my scan.
Is there any way of me finding out sooner?
( also I've been Ill with a virus and have had some serious stress with work which has left me in tears when I get home and not been sleeping as well as a result of the added stress)
Anyone else symptom free but had a successful pregnancy and want to offer me some reassurance/ advice ?
( sorry if any typos- on iPhone)
X

Hi. I was exactly the same around 9 weeks, thought I had escaped morning sickness then it all hit at once at about 11 weeks! I had an early scan at 5 weeks and my dating scan at 9 so was reassured by that. I also had major sickness and diorrhea at 10 weeks and had a major panic after that. Had my 20 week a little while ago and all is fine! Time to relax! Despite being huge and feeling the baby move, I still have days when I don't feel pregnant!
Best of luck with everything! I'm sure it will be fine and hard though it is, try to relax!

Hi mytime other than tiredness I had absolutely no symptoms in the first trimester and was worried like you. I am now 26 weeks and all is going well, baby is kicking away as we speak! Please try not to worry as having no symptoms can be perfectly normal! As I'm getting bigger now have started to get various aches and pains but have managed to completely avoid any sickness etc so overall it's been a very easy pregnancy so far! We are just the lucky ones and you should now just start to enjoy it Grin

I too had a pretty symptom free early pregnancy, no morning sickness, no soreness, no tiredness, nothing really. Felt hungrier than normal but thought I could be imagining that. I was really worried that something had gone wrong and was so nervous before the scan, but there was a baby, just the right size, wriggling away! Everyone is different and experiences pregnancy differently. I know it seems an age to wait but 3 weeks isn't that far off - it will be here before you know it and you can get on with enjoying your pregnancy.

Call your Epu and ask for an early scan. Explain your concerns. Or pay privately. It's usually £100 max, often less.

mytime, I think you are just one of the lucky ones. Unless you've had bleeding, abdominal pains etc i'm sure everything is fine. With my DD I didn't feel pregnant either at around 9 weeks, it is worrying and it's natural for a woman to worry about her child :) But just try and relax about it, especially as you've got the extra stress with work.

If you do think there's reason to be concerned, get yourself an early scan to put your mind at rest.

Good luck :)

Thank you so much ladies. My mind has been settled ( for now at least)
Glad others have also been almost symptomless too and had / having healthy babies.

I'm a just a born worrier normally and this ( along with work) has been reason to worry more than normal.
I nearly called the Epu today but felt bad as didn't want to waste their time with silly questions plus ( as touch wood ive not had cramping etc )
I was thinking although 3 weeks feels like an eternity, it's not that long to wait. My oh thinks I am a drama queen anyway so I know he would think I'm a little silly to go in now when we will go together in a few weeks ( if I did go to the Epu I would see the blob ( if there is one in there) on my own - felt bad doing that.

Let's hope I'm just one of the lucky ones like you said. Smile
Thanks again.
I will TRY not to worry any more.
( roll on 3 weeks when I can allow myself to sing it from the roof tops and get excited!!Grin
