Put it this way ive had no energy what so ever the past 5 weeks, so cleaning has been at a minimum on my behalf, thankgod for my partner lol.. But suddenly this evening i had the erge to clean, clean, clean... I did everything from washing up, hovering, moping.. to even cleaning the grout between my kitchen tiles lol. Just wondered how soon before labour you ladies had this erge, if at all!? x

DD1- never did
DD2 - I scrubbed the loo when I was already in labour, and changed all the bedsheets (with breaks to crawl about when the contractions hurt).

Not much help, sorry!

The day before. I was 36 weeks gone (living with my mum) and wanted to put the moses basket stand together. Mum insisted I was being daft and it would just sit there for at least 2 weeks getting dusty. So, I waited til she went out and built the thing myself, in peace. Went into labour the next day.

This time round, from about 12 weeks Grin I like to be really organised. Blush

I don't believe in 'nesting' I call it 'been in full time work or education for the past 23 years and now have too much time on my hands and don't know what to do with it!'

Pascha · 17/05/2012 08:46

Still waiting. DS is 20 months olf.

With DS1- at about 34 weeks I even cleaned the front door!
With DS2- didn't really get the urge but washed everything in sight at 36 weeks!

With DC1 - 38 weeks, started unpacking all the baby stuff I had bought, making up the cradle, etc. Waters broke 38+1 and DC1 born 38+2.
With DC2 never did. Worked until 38 weeks and DC2 born 38+1.

SwissArmyWife · 17/05/2012 09:56

At around 24 weeks maybe? Can't really remember but I definitely went through it!
