Hiccups high up - breech?

My midwife said that feeling hiccups low down is a good indication that baby is head down. Does anyone know if feeling them high up will definitely mean baby is breech? I've been feeling them low, but this evening just had some up really quite high - above my tummy button. Haven't felt the baby have a major turn or anything though. I'm 37 weeks.

Not sure about the hiccups, but when my baby was breech I felt the most movement up by my ribs on the left, which mw said was a sign of breech. I had a scan at 35 weeks and baby was head down, I never felt it turn at all! My bump didn't change shape or anything so I was convinced was still breech but scan proved otherwise. So I think it's quite hard to tell from movements etc, but could just be me, I don't think I'm very sensitive!

Hmmmm ok. Well I had lots of movements up by my ribs on my right last night, which I haven't had before. God I really hope it hasn't turned breech! Problem is, my 38 appt on Monday is with the GP not the midwife and I'm really not convinced she really knows what position it's in at all from
Her poking about!! Confused

My mw also went off the position of the heart beat which she found higher up when the baby was breech. Think there's different presentations of breech as well ( they thought mine was 'extended' ) so don't go too much off what I say! I'm sure they'll send you for a scan if they're not sure? Hope it's all ok!
