I'm TTC no.2 and was just wondering what to expect next time round if I get lucky. I was lucky enough to have a really easy first pregnancy - no morning sickness, no physical problems apart from generally being huge and swollen towards the end, no stretch marks, etc. Am I likely to get lucky again, or will it be payback time...? Im 11weeks with dc2 and so far, quite different. I didn't have much sickness last time and never threw up. That's the same again.
However, this time have no swelling and tenderness of boobs or abdomen. This time last pg i couldn't sleep on my front everything was so tender. I haven't felt a thing this time. No emotional breakdown, no extreme tiredness.
(not had my scan yet, but did have 3 bfp so assume i am actually pg lol.)

Each of the 4 have been quite different.
There is an almost 10 year gap between youngest and this one to be and part of that was I had hyperemesis with #3 and couldn't quite bring myself to go there again. This time I have vomited a handful of times and am now almost 20 weeks.

I am however incredibly knackered....more tired then I have ever been before.

Oh, Gizzy, poor you. That's horrible. A friend had it and her DD is nearly 5 - I don't think they'll be having another one... Glad you're not suffering this time round.

And thanks Penguins. Glad you're having an easier time too.

I'm pregnant with dc2, and so far a completely different pregnancy. I 'glowed' with dc1, had no morning sickness, but copious, worrying bleeds.

So far, at 7+1 with dc2, I look like shite, have terrible all day nausea/sickness, to the point I have been given medication, and have had just a little spotting.

So, very different to date.

With my first I had no pregnancy symptoms the whole way through really just sore boobs in the last couple of months but I did have food cravings with her all I would eat were peanuts salted, roasted, chilli and peanut butter on toast, sandwiches and biscuits lol!! With my second I had slight nausea but nothing to bad. And with this pregnancy I have really bad nausea feeling faint sore boobs horrible taste un my mouth all day tiredness and bloating this one is the worst yet.

5 easy pregnancies here, never got huge, or had any real issues, spd badly with first pregnancy but not so bad with the others and a bit of sickness, with my 5th pregnancy the sickness was worse than my other 4 but on the whole they really were very easy straightforward pregnancies :)

DS1 - no sickness, very little tiredness, one teeny-tiny stretchmark but terrible water retention (born August)

DS2 - no water retention (born March) BUT horribly nauseous until 18 weeks, utterly knackered for practically the entire pregnancy and the teeny-tiny stretchmark turned into a replica of Birmingham's motorway systems Grin

Oh god, it's a complete lottery, isn't it?! I was really hoping I'd get away with 2 easy ones (well, I guess I might). This is assuming I actually GET pregnant (fingers crossed for this month but no point testing for a week or so).
