Am I pregnant?

I'm new to all this. Hubby and I have been ttc for a while now, with varying degrees of enthusiasm.

A couple of weeks ago I went for a scan and was told I had ovulated, so I dragged hubby home and had my wicked way with him. Since then, I've had sore boobs, a sort of crampy/period beginning feeling in my lower abdomen (over the last 3-4 days particularly) plus a couple of really wierd sleepless nights. Plus, sounds mad but I've been burping lots (!). Had a bit of blood spotting this morning but nothing major.

My periods are pretty wierd - cycle lasts around 34 days which, according to my calculations means that this month I ovulated 17-18 days before my next period is due, which sounds WAY too long. So basically, I think I am due on Saturday.

I took a pregnancy test this morning and got a negative. So I'm very confused now - shall I just wait until Saturday and test again?

You might be! With my second baby I just knew I was pregnant even before taking the test, just kind of felt pregnant but can't really pin point why!

I "just know" too, but the negative result this morning has thrown me a bit and now I feel a bit of a hypochondriac!

Sorry to say thism and you already know really, but you've tested too early and will have to retest at the weekend

Good luck bubblegum girl, I had all of your systems and thought it was just period pain but turned out I was pg. unexpected tho, I guess eating 5 cucumbers in a week the following week concerned me a bit!!!! Good luck fingers crossed zx

Hi everyone again.

Am trying not to obsess but failing. Can anyone help? I have been getting a bit of rusty coloursed spotting, just like I do in the run up to a normal period. Has anybody else had this and subsequently had a positive pregnancy result?
