I got mine yesterday. Had been using a scarf to hold it all together before that. This is stopping the groin/ hip pain but hurting the bottom of the bump. Can't be right? Have tried moving it lower but then the original pain returns. Any advice? Thanks.

It's very uncomfortable to wear. Especially when sitting. The more u wear it gets easier as it softens.

I got one this morning and was advised to wear it for walking but remove fro sitting as it will dig in.

Are you wearing it over your clothes and not under? I actually ended up sleeping in mine (although I'm pretty sure that wasn't reccomended!).

Yep - that's how it works I'm afraid - unless someone has a miraculose wonder answer.

I sleep in mine on occasions too, with a pillow under my hips (but that's to try to stop them popping out and you might not have that particular problem)

Thanks all. It definitely helps with the pain/ collapsing hip/ seizing up thing that's going on. I did take it off for the 5 hour car journey I've just endured. That was bad enough without something painful digging into me.

Mine gives me piles if I wear it too long. But it does act like a duracell and let me carry on for longer if I do. There is no simple answer Sad.

Piles!? Aaaaagh. Haven't had that problem yet, fortunately. I'm doing better with it. Haven't had a collapse while wearing it.
