Bleeding advice needed

Just need a bit of advice really, I am 25 weeks pregnant and having what seems to be a very little bleed. No pain and I can still feel baby moving. I have a scheduled midwife check up tomorrow anyway so am I right to assume everything will be ok and just mention it to mw tomorrow or should I be more worried? I don't want to waste anyone's time by ringing up now over nothing but would be devastated if anything happened to the baby. What would you do?

I would give your MW a buzz today and she what she recommends. Could it be a but if thrush that's been aggravated, or bleeding from piles (sorry!) or have you had sex and maybe just irritated your cervix? It's most prob nothing but I would ring just to put your mind at ease?

I'd give your midwife or maternity triage department a call straight away and discuss it with them and see what they say.

Is the bleed bright red? (or is brown/pink discharge?) and how much blood is there? (teaspoon? or more), is it only when you wipe, or does it come out when you wee? Do you feel ok otherwise? Good that you can still feel baby moving :)

I've bled at 6, 8 and 22, 27 and and currently in hospital with my third bleed (due to PP) Confused at 28 weeks. Always better to get it checked out.

Good luck :) x

I had bleeds all through out my pregancy and was always told to go to the maternity unit straight away for a check up. There was nothing to worry about, but better to get looked at tonight :)

I had several small mucousy bleeds at 22 weeks. I phoned the on call mw the first time, she came out to see me and listened in and examined my bump, then advised me to rest for a few days. It stopped briefly then started again, I was at work that time and work 2 floors above antenatal assessment so I went down and got seen by a dr (who I know Blush). She did an internal exam to check that my cervix was closed (it was), and took a swab which came back clear. She also prescribed a canestan pessary. It stopped again a few days later, I never got any answers as to why it happened but I'm glad I got checked - it was very reassuring to hear a hb and know that I wasn't in labour.

That was 3 weeks ago and everything seems fine Smile. Good luck!

Did you hear back from mw? Hope you're ok. :)

She told me to wait for appointment tomorrow as there was no pain and only a bit of pink blood. So fingers crossed all will be well. Thank you everyone.
