Sudden sharp shooting pains up bum?

Anyone else get this? I'm 15 weeks - what is it? It shocks me every time it happens!

Me!!!! I was in agony yesterday with it. Couldn't get off the floor and had to call my dad. Ended up at hospital, have cystitis and was given antibiotics. Keep an eye on
It. I did have other symptoms though. Hope it goes away soon for you because it is agony. I am 17 weeks with dc3 and it started for me 2-3 weeks ago xx

I have had this but up my vagina rather than my bum. I had it loads after having DD, then on and off for about 10 months, then more since being pregnant again, although I'm only 11 weeks so it can't be the pressure of the baby on my cervix or anything.

I have it in the fanjo too. I think it's referred round ligament pain.

Sastra's got it, its ligaments stretching usually. Lastone's experience sounds agony though, so please do look after yourself

Do you get that type of pain if you've got internal piles?
