Hi Ladies. Im almost 20 weeks pregnant. I have just arrived in London, as my husband has a 3 month contract here before we return to Australia. Ive been living in Ireland the past 8 months.
I have no idea how the public health system works here or even where my closest Maternity Hospital is. (im in Notting Hill) i need to have my bloods done (should have done this weeks ago) and need my 20 week scan. I feel so overwhelmed by all this, I could cry!
So any information on where i should start would be a great help.
Thank you all so much in advance :-)

First thing you should do is get registered with a GP. I used to go to one on Pembridge Villas - they were great and have a walk in service in the morning and afternoon so you could be seen by a Dr today. www.pembridgevillas-w11.nhs.uk/welcome,37477.htm

They will then refer you to a hospital so you can have your scan. St Mary's is probably the closest but there will be a few to choose from.

Good luck - I'm sure it will all be fine!
