I am 20 wks with DC2... for the last few days I have a dreadful pain when walking or standing (ok if I'm lying or sitting...so suspect gravity plays a part!). It's very low down, and feels almost like weight of entire baby et al is resting on the front of my pubic bone. I sort of want to hold my bump when I walk to try and relieve the pressure...anyone had this???

Sounds like spd to me is it painful to lieu your leg, turn over etc?

Hi, yes i had this around the same time as you are now, i was in agony though and could hardly walk, in the end had to go see my doctor who diagnosed spd, then was sent to the midwife who referred me for physio (only the midwife can refer you though so may be worth making a direct appt with her).

once at physio i imagined all kinds of exercises to do but no all she did was fit me with a pregnancy support belt and it was the best thing ever! even if the baby is just lying on the nerve the belt will really help lift up your bump, the sooner you go see the midwife/doctor the sooner you can get help, so please go asap.

Ladies! You are super-fast and super-helpful! Thank you.
I already have an existing pelvic issue (though back of pelvis - wonky sacroilliac) and have been surprised that it has not played up more. This front pain is a new one.
Will get it sorted asap! Thanks very much
