There was a heartbeat, but blood surrounding sac. I think it is a small bleed, if that matters.
Anyone have any experience? I am far away from friends and family, and feeling very vulnerable.
Was crushed after late 12week scan (at 14 weeks) showed no heartbeat,in Sept.
Petrified of going through the same again Sad

I also had a mmc last year, and then bleeding this pregnancy, a scan at 6 weeks showed a bleed next to the sac but a strong hb. The bleed had disappeared by my dating scan. I had further bleeds at 22 weeks but no cause was ever found and it's stopped again now. I'm 25 weeks today and being regularly kicked from the inside Smile

I was in the exact same position, I'm now 13/14 weeks and it's still ok and I can hear it with my Doppler. Good luck!!

Nice to hear there can be a positive outcome. Just cautious of feeling positive about my own situation incase things go wrong again

Yes, I'm still a bit wary to get too excited and worry about every twinge. This will be a long pregnancy....(hopefully). Good luck

Hi, I had a huge bleed every week up to about 14 weeks due to a sub chorionic haemmorhage around the sac and I was advised bed rest by my GP, there are conflicting views on whether it helps or not but as I'm such a guilt ridden worrier Blush it put my mind at rest that l couldn't do any more! I, like you, also had a previous mmc, live 3 hours from my family and just worried constantly, it's so natural after all that previous heartache and sods law that this one isn't straightforward! I'm now nearly 18 weeks, lying on my bed feeling the first movements, with no bleeding for the last month and.... Well, still not relaxed but feeling hopeful Grin.... Maybe i'll start to enjoy it more after the 20 week scan! Take things easy and I'm keeping my fingers and legs crossed that you'll have such a good outcome as the stories shared on here Smile

Thank you for letting me know your stories. I am being referred to the early preg clinic and have been told to rest...ha,zero chance of that.Have just moved house and have 3 kids!
