everything is getting on my nerves. I am 28 wks pregnant - is this a symptom or am I just very moody at the moment? I am snapping at everything and everyone - dh, dd, the dog!

symptom well was for me, my poor DH can't do anything right, came back on around 34 weeks ish I think big style - has settled a bit now but mostly yep hormones hon.

how's the bleeding been going? has it stopped?

colditz · 16/02/2006 11:49

This is a symptom if you ask me, and the answer is food.

I am convinced that between hormones and low blood sugar, it is all a pregnant woman can to stand upright without crying. I would prescribe food every 2 hours, it has certainly helped me control my temper!

lol@ cold yes def lots of chocolate, or if u're like me right now creme eggs - hmmmmmmm!

ooh and also don't be surprised if u do start bursting into tears again for no reason - one of my baking trays crashed on the floor a few weeks back and it was all I could do to stop myself crying instead telling DH 'but it's part of my set' lol. poor DH got a nasty look when he said 'don't worry it can be replaced'! lol. who'd be a PG woman eh!

Don't talk to me about irrational behavior...

thank goodness I got it all sorted out!

IamBlossom · 16/02/2006 14:18

I've got to go and buy a creme egg now........

Helsi - its not just you, I'm 30 weeks tomorrow and am a miserable moddy mare! Just look at how many people I offended on the Wales thread. I'm going to have hate mail one day, not least from dd and dh who cant breathe without being snapped at!

I remember my friend though who had her dd in august, was a moddy nightmare in the last trimester too. I remember saying to her to sort it out or she'd have no friends to buy presents for her baby before too long (compasssionate Moi?) and now I'm doing it.

Anyone got any hints for perspective? I keep annoying people without even meaning too and then feel really guilty afterwards.

Somebody please provide some help for helsi, me and the rest of the May baby ladies!

lol, hocky mum, well given how i'm only jsut ahead of u at 38 weeks I can't talk too much, but i've done a few things to help with the moodiness,

a) forwarned everyone as i'm about to rant I have PG hormones big styley!
b) eaten copious amounts of chocolate - prob far too much!
c) actually realised when i'm about to go off onto one and walk away from the situation sit down with a cuppa and a bar of choccy, and
d) when in work and getting a harrasses call saying the words wooooooosaaaaarrrr bad boys style actually does help cos u feel stupid and end up laughing it off! lol.

don't know if that helps at all? thankfully as well DH is well versed now to my moods and leave me to get on with it - prefering to sit up here on the comp than in my company down stairs! lol.
